چکیده
Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) cv. Eshu 10 was used to investigate the effects of exogenous gibberellic acid (GA3), abscisic (ABA), and low-temperature stress on changes hormone content, expression patterns StTCP15 gene, tuber dormancy characteristics. Under GA3 treatment stress, broken in about one week sooner compared with control group, but ABA did not significantly promote breaking dormancy. The results determination using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) showed that content tubers treated or lower than it higher group under treatment. stress. During dormancy, continued increase fluctuated, rapidly decreased increased when breaking, both during germination. from assay real-time quantitative PCR gene continuously dormant period all groups, highest at time release. 15 times 7th d restored room temperature. Potato yield and tuber quality as affected by gibberellic acid and zinc sulfate
Abstract Obtaining high potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) tuber yield through increased number and weight of quality tubers is important for farmers while the quality factors are of interest for food processing industries. Potato processing industries require high quality tubers having the highest possible dry matter, starch and protein contents. A two-year field study was carried out as a factoria...
متن کاملRegulation of potato tuber dormancy: A review
Dormancy is one aspect of tuber physiological age that begins with potato tuber initiation. During dormancy, biochemical and physiological processes do occur but they do not trigger immediate morphological changes, yet these processes are relevant for the number of sprouts produced after breaking of the dormancy and for the growth vigour of the seed tuber. This review article reports that dorma...
متن کاملRegulatory involvement of abscisic acid in potato tuber wound-healing.
Rapid wound-healing is crucial in protecting potato tubers from infection and dehydration. Wound-induced suberization and the accumulation of hydrophobic barriers to reduce water vapour conductance/loss are principal protective wound-healing processes. However, little is known about the cognate mechanisms that effect or regulate these processes. The objective of this research was to determine t...
